A distinctive feature of Miras Kindergarten is introduction of an integrated program developed on the basis of the international and domestic experience in preschool education. Education in groups of children aged 2 and up is based on a bilingual approach in Kazakh and Russian. Much attention is paid to studying English. The Kindergarten curriculum has been developed to ensure harmonious comprehensive development of our children: sensory skills/mathematics, speech development, English, learning the world, physical training, choreography, swimming, classes to develop practical and social skills, and classes with speech therapist and psychologist.

The inquiry-based approach to learning contributes to deeper understanding and knowledge comprehension. Child’s integrated development is reflected in the description of the Student Profile. The Kindergarten graduates are looking forward to being:

1.      Explorers. They realize inbred curiosity and actively acquire skills required for making consistent observations, display quick understanding, have fun experimenting and setting a cognitive problem independently, then solving it using accessible methods (observation, comparison, assumption and argumentation).

2.      Knowledgeable. They explore natural phenomena and different notions, acquire knowledge and learn how to apply this knowledge in everyday life.

3.      Sociable. They perceive information, feel confident about expressing own ideas in three languages: Kazakh, English and native language. They are capable of communicating with others using verbal and nonverbal means (get on with peers and adults easily), and are aware of the rules of public conduct.

4.      Caring. They show attention, sympathy, caring and kind attitude toward other people, take care of plants and pets, help each other and show respect for other people.

5.      Comprehensively Developed.  They understand the importance of physical, emotional and mental development for themselves and other people.

6.      Analyzing. They can express own opinion, compare, analyze and make conclusions.

7.      Responsible. They are responsible for own actions, understanding their effect on other people, the nature, animals, etc. They treat own things and the Kindergarten resources with due care.

8.      Independent. They have self-service skills and apply them in various activities.
