On October 13, a chess tournament was held in Almaty. It was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation where students are from the Foundation’s branches.

The youngest participant in the tournament was a child named Ratmir Ainabekov who is from Miras Kindergarten in Almaty.

The International Grandmaster Zhansaya Abdumalik took part in the event as an honorary guest.
